This policy applies to mobile applications published by Arnau Labs. Because each application has different features, the relevant application section below explains the data flows for that app. If a feature is not present in an app, it does not apply to that app.
Arnau Labs designs its apps to minimise data collection. Unless an app-specific section says otherwise, our apps do not require an Arnau Labs account or login, do not sell personal information, do not use third-party advertising, and do not use data for cross-app tracking.
Apple may process payments, subscription transactions, platform diagnostics and other platform services under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. A feature may also use a named third-party provider, which is identified in the relevant app section.
When you contact Arnau Labs, we receive the information you choose to include in your message. We use it to answer your request, investigate bugs and meet legal obligations. Contact: [email protected].
Plant Tracker stores plant names, species, spaces, care schedules, task history, notes, journal entries and plant photos on the device. When iCloud sync is available, the collection can sync through Apple's private CloudKit container. Arnau Labs does not operate an account database for this collection.
Plant Doctor is optional. When a user starts an assessment, the selected photo is resized on the device and sent over an encrypted connection to Arnau Labs' Plant Doctor endpoint. The request may include the plant name and species, light preference, room, watering interval, selected symptoms, photo purpose, app version and a random installation identifier used for rate limiting.
The endpoint sends the image and care context to Google Gemini to generate a cautious visual assessment. Arnau Labs does not intentionally store submitted Plant Doctor images or use them to train an AI model. The endpoint does not create a user profile. Technical providers may process transient request and security logs under their own terms. Do not submit people, documents, medical information or other sensitive content in a plant photo.
Photos used only for a plant profile or Growth Journal remain in local/iCloud app data unless the user separately starts Plant Doctor.
Plant data and journal content remain on the device or in the user's private iCloud data until edited or deleted. Arnau Labs does not intentionally retain Plant Doctor images after processing. Users can export or delete local data through the app/device and manage iCloud data through Apple account settings.
